In 2028 the Forum comes to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Survivors, families, burn-unit staff and firefighters from across Canada, together in one place for a few days of sessions, sharing circles and time with people who understand.
The Forum brings together everyone touched by burn trauma: survivors, first responders, family and loved ones, and the medical community whose care helped them survive and thrive. This whole community is affected by traumatic injury, and bringing it together helps complete the circle of healing.
Expect keynotes, information sessions, panel discussions and sharing circles, with plenty of time for the conversations in between.
The program is being built now. Speakers and sessions will be added here as they are confirmed, and everyone who registers gets an email when the full schedule is ready.
